About Dr. Coble

Dr. Jaclyn Morency Coble has been treating patients since 2012. A lifelong animal lover, Dr. Coble has wanted to be a veterinarian since childhood. She studied marine biology at the University of Massachusetts and graduated in 2007. She then attended Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2012. After completing a rotating internship in small animal medicine at Angell Animal Medical Center, Dr. Coble practiced emergency medicine in the greater Boston area.

While practicing emergency, she realized that many of her emergency room patients were suffering from chronic pain and illness. These patients waited hours in the emergency room for breakthrough pain when they truly needed long-term comprehensive care. She was also diagnosing life-changing or life-shortening illnesses that would benefit from long-term palliative care.

Founding of Sea Legs Integrative Veterinary Health

This led her to found Sea Legs Integrative Veterinary Health. She obtained her Certified Canine Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP) credentials from University of Tennessee. She also took specialized courses in palliative care, traditional Chinese veterinary medicine and acupuncture at Chi University in Reddick, FL to become a credentialed Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA).

Sea Legs is named after Dr. Coble's childhood dog. We strive to help all of our patients get back on their feet, and earn their own ``Sea Legs.`` In her spare time, Dr. Coble enjoys running, swimming, and boating with her family.
